Empower Women in Honor of Sayyida Fatima (sa) 

Sayyida Fatima (sa) is a key figure that inspires people from all areas of life. In today’s world, there are many women that are left vulnerable from life’s circumstances. Proper training and empowerment will benefit not just the women, but also their households and families.  

 Empowering disadvantaged women would bring a sense of security to families that were at risk of poverty. Many of these women are widowed, making them the sole breadwinners for their household. Empowering a mother in such circumstances would have a lasting impact on their children’s lives and futures. 

Project Details

• Securing a Reliable Source of Income: Women who receive sufficient training in any skill will be able to sustain their families. 

• Empowered Mothers: Many of these women would set a good example for their children, teaching them the value of education and preparing for a better future.

Project Description 

The Zahra Trust has initiated two skills training programs in Afghanistan: carpet weaving and kilim weaving. Both program are appropriate for women in this location and will enable them to support their own families. Your support is vital to make these projects possible.
